一、例句
To get a sense of which are most at risk, liquidity and business model are a good place to start. (The Economist)
二、句子解析
这句话的意思是：要了解哪些风险最大，我们可以先看看流动性和商业模式。这句话摘自最新一期《经济学人》Business 版块的 Much of global commerce has ground to a halt 一文。
它是一个非常实用的路标过渡句，可以很好地启下。
比如在原文中，下文就出现了这两个段首句：
Take liquidity first. Companies’ second vulnerability besides a liquidity crunch arises from their business models.
在写作中能够恰到好处地使用逻辑关联词和路标句，可以让行文连贯，让读者更高效地获取信息、定位自己感兴趣的点。
这句话中的“to get a sense of”是个非常地道、高质量的表达，意思是“想了解、知道、感受...”，在口语和写作中都可以使用。另外需要注意，句子的主语“liquidity and business model”是复数，因此谓语动词使用了 are，但后面接的“a good place”又是单数；我们可以这样理解：虽然主语是复数，但它们是一个整体，所以用了“a good place”单数。
当我们想表达“要了解...，我们可以先看看...”就可以使用“To get a sense of X, Y is/are a good place to start.”这个高频、实用的过渡句式。
三、句式临摹
临摹句子：To get a sense of which are most at risk, liquidity and business model are a good place to start.
提炼句式：To get a sense of X, Y is/are a good place to start.
注意：
1) X 可以是 which/what/when/how/why 引导的从句，也可以是名词；
2）句子的主谓一致。
造句示范：
a1) To get a sense of the scale of the pandemic, Italy and Iran are a good place to start.（X 是名词，主语是复数）
a2) To get a sense of how far and wide the pandemic has spread, Italy and Iran are a good place to start.（X 是 how 引导的从句）
b1) To get a sense of the financial hit caused by the pandemic, the US stock market is a good place to start.（X 是名词，主语是单数）
b2) To get a sense of which stock market has been hit the hardest by the pandemic, the US is a good place to start.（X 是 which 引导的从句）
